— Tracking since September 2015 and pretty outdated...

Danny Li was born in 1998, in a small town in the north of the Netherlands, Emmen. At a very young age he started experimenting with technology, particularly websites. Because of his curiosity he taught himself how to create websites by studying dozens of documentations. From then on he has been practising and gaining experience. Today he is a professional webdeveloper and has worked on countless small and big projects, locally and internationally. He believes that there is nothing you can not do with programming. Imagination is the key. and coffee... lots of coffee

Work process

Here is an overview of how I approach each new project.

I work closely with my clients and keep them up-to-date at all times.

1. Idea & Research

We discuss your idea, I gather information about your plan and your potential consumer.

2. Sketch

I literally sketch the whole idea and plan, drawing concepts, flowcharts and more.

3. Design

Creating the design using the gathered information and sketches.

4. Develop & Prototype

Time to get the back-end done, I am always prototyping while I am developing.

5. Test

A final test is a must. We test the whole package together. Bugs get fixed and some finishing touches are done.

6. Launch

It is time to launch. Hooray! But it does not end here, I offer at least 2 months of premium support for free!

WebPal webhosting solutions

Personal project Jan. 2012 - Nov. 2013

WebPal offered reliable webhosting, domainname registrations and other online services for an affordable price and professional and quick support.

There was one problem: I did not have a proper budget to start a "real" webhosting company. I have solved this by using a free reseller API offered by a major webhosting company and started selling their products. WebPal was quite successful, it had over 250 customers without a proper marketing strategy. Unfortunately I had to close it down due to complications with school, all customers have been informed forehanded and have been transfered to a major hosting company in a professional manner.

My responsibilities

I was responsible for everything, since I was the only one working on it.

Open source web based server administration tool for Battlefield Play4Free

Personal project Oct. 2013 - May 2014

This servertool was initially only meant for my personal gameserver, until I realized how many other server owners were looking for a tool like this. Because of that I have published it open source and hosted quite a few of them for free on my private server. This servertool features advanced rule enforcement, stunning in-game commands and more.

BattlefieldTools

Personal project Jan. 2013 - Jul. 2015

BattlefieldTools offered free server administration with a few premium features for First-Person-Shooter games, particularly Battlefield Play4Free. Within 3 months after the launch 87% of the Battlefield Play4Free gameservers (official servers not included) were using our services. In 2015 we have merged with Tools4Games (T4G) and protected the servers using our services from cheaters.

We stopped BattlefieldTools after the closure of Battlefield Play4Free.

School (profile assignment) Sept. 2015

This website is specificly made for the event "Café Groothuis", where musicians can play in front of a big audience in a cozy cafe. On this website participants can sign up digitally, we used to do this manually on paper, and we keep them up-to-date with the latest information and the latest changes in the programm. During the event, everyone can see live on the homepage who is on stage on that moment.

RenegadeLine is an upcoming free-to-play third-person cartoon shooter by Raw Vengeance Games. The design was created by a fellow team member in Photoshop (image), I have converted the image into HTML and CSS and have improved it here and there.

The back-end consist of a sophisticated MVC model (Model-View-Controller), security system and more. Besides that there is also a live-chat, which is written in Node JS, where players can chat live on the website.

This website is still work in progress.
